LOOK5 Waitlist Privacy Notice

Information LOOK5 handles

When you submit the waitlist form, LOOK5 stores your normalized email address; status as subscribed, legacy pending or confirmed, unsubscribed, or suppressed; the consent version and server-recorded consent and subscription times; optional email-verification time; consent-expiry time; created and updated times; delivery state needed for receipt, bounce, complaint, and suppression controls; and, when intentionally provided, a bounded campaign-source value. LOOK5 does not store a birthdate, identity document, password, application username, raw referrer string, raw Turnstile token, or unnecessary IP or device data in the waitlist database.

Age and United States eligibility

The waitlist is for people who are at least 18 years old and currently in the United States. The form records your self-attestation; LOOK5 does not perform identity or age verification for the waitlist. Do not submit the form if you do not meet these conditions.

How LOOK5 uses consent and information

LOOK5 uses this information to record the immediate waitlist subscription you request; send launch announcements and product updates within that exact scope; send a best-effort functional receipt that does not control membership; optionally record later email verification separately; manage consent, unsubscribe, suppression, delivery, bounce, and complaint handling; secure the form; measure only an allowlisted campaign source when supplied; respond to privacy requests; and comply with law. Joining the waitlist does not create an app account or guarantee access.

The email checkbox is separate, required for subscription, and not prechecked. Selecting it and submitting authorizes only LOOK5 launch announcements and product updates. An email receipt or verification is not required to join. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Service providers

Cloudflare, Inc. provides the public page, server function, bot protection, and D1 waitlist database. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical signals such as IP address, TLS fingerprint, user-agent header, sitekey, and site origin for bot detection. LOOK5 validates but does not store the raw Turnstile token.

Plus Five Five, Inc., doing business as Resend, sends the best-effort receipt and later separately authorized waitlist email and may process the recipient email address, email content and metadata, and delivery, bounce, complaint, or unsubscribe information. LOOK5 does not enable Resend open or click tracking for the waitlist.

These providers process information to provide, secure, and maintain their services under their terms and privacy commitments. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by the providers. LOOK5 does not claim that Cloudflare’s location hint guarantees U.S.-only storage.

LOOK5 does not sell waitlist information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, use it for targeted advertising, or use it for cross-app tracking.

Retention

New immediate subscriptions are kept until the earliest of unsubscribe, verified deletion, waitlist closure, or 24 months after the latest affirmative consent. Legacy pending requests still expire after 24 hours and are deleted from the active waitlist no later than seven days after submission unless a new eligible request is made. Existing confirmed records retain only their launch-announcement and product-update scope. Unsubscribed or suppressed records are reduced to the minimum information reasonably needed to honor the no-contact choice and document compliance. When the waitlist is closed or no longer needed, active waitlist records will be deleted or moved only under a separately disclosed, consent-compatible purpose.

Cloudflare D1 Time Travel may retain restorable database history after an active-row change or deletion. Under LOOK5’s current configuration, that restorable history is available for up to seven days; LOOK5 will update this notice if the applicable period changes.

Resend states that customer/end-user data is deleted within 90 days after account termination; operational delivery/security logs may follow provider retention rules. Legal, security, fraud, or compliance needs may require limited longer retention.

Your choices

You may optionally verify an email when that feature is offered, unsubscribe, request access to or a copy of your waitlist record, correct your email by submitting a new request, or request deletion by emailing [email protected]. LOOK5 may verify control of the email address before disclosing or changing a record. A deletion request removes the active waitlist record, but LOOK5 may retain a minimal suppression record so the address is not marketed to again.

LOOK5 targets acknowledging privacy requests within 48 hours and completing verified access, export, correction, or deletion requests within 30 days unless applicable law permits or requires a different period.

Security and contact

LOOK5 uses HTTPS, server-side validation, signed expiring unsubscribe and legacy-confirmation links, bot protection, access controls, and a separate waitlist database. No system is completely secure.
